Situated with riverside views across the Thames overlooking HMS Belfast, this three bedroom apartment at Sugar Quay embodies sophisticated family living. We were asked to design a functional light space with bold accents of colour and artistic flair working with the clients’ personal artwork and their favourite “Cadburys Purple” . Each area was carefully considered and reconfigured using bespoke joinery and special elements.
We had a lot of fun with this project: a riverside apartment requiring a complete reconfiguration and, as per the client’s brief, an injection of personality and colour (particularly purple, our client’s favourite). We created additional sleeping space and clever storage using joinery designed in house and made by carpenters on site. Quirky touches include a foldaway bed with integrated shelving above which, when opened, reveals concealed nightstands, and an elegant window seat perfectly positioned for uninterrupted Thames views but with bespoke window treatments to ensure complete privacy. We thought of everything!
