This exceptional triplex penthouse apartment overlooks the River Thames. Working closely with this client, we designed the internal finishes, all of which work to maximise and accentuate the very unusual space and view of the London skyline. A light tonal palette with highlights of gold, orange and blue create a luxury interior complementing the apartment’s incredible view.
This duplex apartment, overlooking the river Thames, came to us as shell and core and was meticulously transformed into a luxurious, timeless living space. Furniture, furnishings, artwork and floor and wall treatments were all carefully curated to enhance the apartment’s feeling of sophistication and grandeur. Due to the elevated position and chamfered walls of the open plan living and dining room and kitchen, we chose diagonal herringbone wooden floors with marble inlay to draw the eye to the key spaces and used coffered ceilings to create zones, perfectly finished off with individual pendant light treatments. The curved wooden staircase was flanked with armour coat wall treatments and all internal walls were finished in the finest artisan textured wallpapers. The headboard in the main bedroom was made in single-stitched leather with limed and fumed oak and the night tables, in matching finishing and brass inlay, were seamlessly integrated into the feature wall. In the porcelain-clad bathrooms, with elegant free-standing baths, special window treatments were used to maximise the riverside views. Our favourite touch is the clock in the master bedroom’s shower, perfectly positioned for stunning views of central London.
